What are the benefits of SRS?
The SRS solar system is designed to produce domestic hot water using conventional flat plate collectors. In addition to the conventional collectors and the solar water heater, the system also includes other elements for installation and control. Classical solar collectors have been in use for many years and are characterised by their good efficiency, quick and easy installation and, last but not least, their low price. Depending on the number of family members and what their sanitary water needs are, we can assess what kind of SRS solar system we will need. As ambient temperatures rise throughout the year, more and more days are suitable for heating domestic hot water with a solar water system. A modern solar system provides us with heated domestic water for most of the year, almost free of charge.
How does a solar system work?
The process of operating a solar flat plate system can be described in three steps:
- The solar energy is absorbed in the collector through a special absorber film that covers the pipe system with the heating medium,
- the medium is transported to the storage tank or sanitary water heater by means of a pump,
- The hot water coming from the solar system heats the domestic water through the heat exchanger. If not all the available energy is used to heat the domestic hot water, the excess can also be used to support the heating.
Collectors with Solar Keymark quality certification
The Seltron TS collector meets the high technical standards and requirements in solar collector technology. Production is carried out on a fully robotic production line. This ensures high precision and maximum quality. The collector housing is made of aluminium. With a weight of only 35 kg, it is one of the lightest collectors on the market. The solar glass is fixed using a specially developed two-component adhesive. The super selective absorber ensures high solar energy efficiency. The superior design and the black-edged glass without mechanical frame give a unique and attractive appearance.
Possible collector layouts
The collectors can be installed on a flat roof, on roofs of different pitches and in the roof, in a vertical or horizontal position.
