Why choose a Daikin Atherma 3 stand-alone unit with integrated hot water heater?
The best seasonal efficiencies ensure the biggest savings on running costs. The Daikin Altherma 3 integrated heat pump is the perfect solution for new builds, as well as for low-energy homes. With an outlet water temperature of up to 65 °C, it's also a great choice for adaptations. The Bluevolution technology developed by Daikin combines highly efficient compressors with the refrigerant of the future: R32.
Maximum safe and economical operation
The heat exchanger of the heat pump for heating the sanitary water is located on the outside of the heater and is not in direct contact with the sanitary water. The advantage of this design is that it is completely protected against possible mixing of the sanitary water and the refrigerant. The heat exchanger, with its increased transfer surface, further contributes to the efficiency of the heat pump. The result is maximum safe and economical operation.
All-in-one system saves space and time during installation
The floor area of the integrated indoor unit is only 600 x 600 mm, which is similar to other household appliances such as a refrigerator. You hardly need any extra space on the side for installation, as the pipework is on top of the unit. The installation height is 1,65 m for the 180 l heater and 1,85 m for the 230 l heater, so the required installation height is less than 2 m. The small size of the integrated indoor unit is further emphasised by the sleek design and modern appearance, which blend in well with other household appliances.
Smart management
The signalling on the heat pump shows you the status of the system in real time. Blue means the system is working perfectly, if the eye turns red, there is a fault. With the MMI Setup Assistant, you can configure the operation of the unit in less than 10 steps. By running test cycles, you can check the unit's readiness for use ! The high-resolution colour display provides excellent visualisation of the system operation, giving the user or technician a real easy overview of the pump operation.
