Why choose a Daikin Altherma heat pump for domestic hot water?
How does it work?
The system consists of an indoor unit that extracts the energy to produce domestic hot water from the air. The unit produces up to 60 % of energy from air, the rest from electricity. The heat pump uses a compressor and refrigerant to transfer the energy from the air to the water, which is heated according to your needs and delivered to your home.
Extremely quiet
With a sound power* of 51 dB(A) indoors and 44 dB(A) outdoors, it is one of the quietest heat pumps for domestic hot water.
*Sound power is generated by the unit itself, independent of distance and environment, while sound pressure level is a measure of the sound energy emitted by a noise source.
