Gas condensing boilers
Why are they so effective?
Energy fuels contain different amounts of water, which is converted into steam during the combustion process. In an average residential house with a conventional boiler, about 3000 litres of water passes through the chimney as water vapour per year. To heat this amount of water to the point of evaporation requires a huge amount of energy. The advantage of condensing gas boilers is that they also use the heat of the water vapour produced during combustion to provide heat. This greatly increases their efficiency.
If we harness the energy of water vapour, we go beyond the magic 100 % of energy efficiency, thanks to the agreement of manufacturers in the past, when this was not yet technically possible.
Differences in efficiency
between condensing gas boilers and conventional gas boilers.
Compared to conventional boilers, which reach maximum efficiencies of 92-95 %, condensing gas boilers can reach efficiencies of up to 110 % by harnessing the energy of water vapour.
