Storing excess energy increases the energy-saving performance of the heating system
When sizing a heating appliance, we usually choose a power output that will meet the heating needs even in the most adverse weather conditions. For most of the heating season, 60 % of rated output will already meet the demand, which means less efficient operation for the heating appliance. By connecting the heating plant to a heat storage tank, its operation can be optimised, the excess heat can be stored and later fed to different consumers according to the needs of the heating system.
