Clutch for manual operation
The manual operation clutch of the AHD compact controller is activated by pressing the button (marked in the picture). After activation of the clutch, the valve can be moved manually, at the same time interrupting the automatic control and, if necessary, the operation of the circulating pump. Operation in manual mode is indicated on the display.
Quick assembly
The innovative accessories and mounting system allow the compact AHD controller to be quickly mounted and dismounted on the mixing valve, largely without the use of tools. The valve is mounted using a push-on system. To dismantle, simply release the safety catch on the flange and remove the regulator from the valve. The actuator cannot be automatically removed from the valve during operation.
Accessories are available for most mixing valves on the market.
Friendly user interface
The user interface consists of a colour display and a keyboard. The keypad has been placed under the manual scroll button to prevent unwanted changes to the controller settings. For a clear and user-friendly display of data, the controller has a built-in colour graphic display with a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels, with the possibility of adjusting the backlight intensity. The automatic orientation of the display ensures readability of the data regardless of the mounting position of the controller.
Plug-in connectors
The compact AHD controller has a socket built into the housing for connecting the power cable. This allows easy disconnection of the power supply in case of maintenance work, without the use of tools. Sensors and other connections are plugged into the external coupling bay where it is possible to connect:
- Sensors T1-T4.
- Bus connection to another controller.
- In-room unit.
Setting the controller with the wizard
The controller has a built-in wizard for setting up the controller for the first time. It is a four-step process and includes:
- Step 1: language choice.
- Step 2: Choosing a hydraulic scheme.
- Step 3: Choosing the steepness of the heating curve.
- Step 4: select the direction of opening of the mixing valve.
Once this procedure is complete, the controller is set up and ready for basic operation.
