Installation of Clausius or Kelvin apps, one of the Seltron heating controllers and a GWD communication interface to connect the controller via Wi-Fi to the internet are necessary components for remote heating control. The CLAUSIUS mobile app can be downloaded free of charge on your phone. There is a version for mobile devices running Android or iOS and for all computers with a modern internet browser. We recommend that you also equip your heating system with an RCD2 room unit, which gives feedback on the room temperature. High-quality input data is the basis for the heating controller's excellent performance and the extremely precise achievement of the desired temperature.

The GWD "gateway" communication interface allows owners of Seltron controllers to use SeltronHome applications for remote heating control. The GWD3 version is designed for internet connection of two Seltron controllers. The heating controllers are connected to the GWD via a wired connection, while the GWD connects to the internet using the home WiFi network.

Data is transferred between the application, the cloud and the GWD communication interface over a secure HTTPS connection protected by an SSL certificate with 256-bit encryption. We control failed logins to the CLAUSIUS and KELVIN applications. After ten failed logins, a block is triggered, which can only be lifted by an administrator. We protect personal data by securing the premises and the system software. We protect the software used to process personal data.
