The weather in Europe can be unfriendly. That's why the Daikin Altherma 3 H HT is designed to operate in heating mode down to -28 °C outside temperature. However, heating performance is maintained at similar levels down to -15 °C outside temperature.
These operational achievements are made possible thanks to original Daikin technology. As a market leader, Daikin is constantly striving to create the most reliable and efficient heat pumps possible. To achieve better and more environmentally friendly performance, Daikin has developed Bluevolution technology. This technology is now an integral part of all new products, including the Daikin Altherma 3 H HT. The Daikin Altherma 3 H HT is Daikin's first outdoor unit with a distinctive design. A single fan lowers noise levels, and with its black front grille it blends in with any outdoor environment. All these dedicated components, the result of in-house development, underline the uniqueness of the Daikin Altherme 3 H HT. Superior efficiency, use of renewable energy, design and noise-free comfort. This is what a heat pump is all about.
Bluevolution technology combines a specially developed compressor and R-32 refrigerant. Daikin is the first company in the world to introduce heat pumps with R-32 refrigerant. With a lower global warming potential (GWP), R-32 is equivalent in performance to standard refrigerants, but achieves higher energy efficiency and lower CO2 emissions. Easy to recycle and reuse, R-32 is the perfect solution for compliance.
Design and space-saving installation
In addition to acoustic comfort, design is nowadays also of decisive importance. Daikin has paid special attention to matching the outdoor unit to the furnishings in your home. The black grille is laid horizontally, so the fan is invisible inside the unit. For more discretion, the matt grey casing reflects the background wall colour. This unit won the IF and 'red dot' design awards 2019.
Silence rhymes with comfort
Daikin Altherma 3 H HT is designed to reduce sound levels and meet the expectations of modern society. Daikin Altherma 3 H HT allows more flexibility with its low sound level mode. In standard sound level mode, the sound pressure at a distance of 3 metres is equal to 38 dBA, quieter than birds chirping and about the same as the sound level in a library. By contrast, the low sound level mode reduces decibels at 3 metres by a factor of 3, a real reduction of half the sound level!
